The Philoptochos Society Chapter of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in San Diego presents En Vogue 2008 - an extraordinary production for Philoptochos ministries, Kids n Cancer and the San Diego Habitat for Humanity. Join us in celebrating spring and the beauty of life by taking part in this urgently needed humanitarian journey.

Created in 1902, Philoptochos is a not-for-profit organization that has grown into the one of the largest womens accredited philanthropic organization in the entire Western Hemisphere. Chartered in 1931, it is comprised of more than 28,000 dynamic women, united in helping those in need. All they ask is that you open your heart to EnVogue 2008 and support Kids n Cancer and San Diego Habitat for Humanity.

A project for yet another year is San Diego Habitat for Humanity. This important program frees deserving families from the unending struggles that accompany inadequate shelter. It opens the doors to greater self-esteem and self-reliance through house-building and hope-building work, which is so urgently needed, especially in San Diego County, where homeownership is out of reach for so many. To date San Diego Habitat for Humanity has built 64 homes in San Diego County with 47 more homes in the planning stages.

Philoptochos Kids n Cancer Camp Agape (Love) is a safe haven project providing a four-day camping experience for pediatric cancer patients and their families, i.e. a special place where they can enjoy memorable moments together. Kids n Cancer has long been a primary beneficiary of our philanthropy, where all proceeds go directly to benefit more than 600 children afflicted with this dreaded disease.
